Mr. J. C. Jain graduated in mechanical engineering in 1969 from Madhav Engineering College, Gwalior and M.Tech from BITS, Pilani in 1971. Mr. Jain was the chairman of state unit of CII in 2008, as well as president of SIDCUL industrial estate besides being member of several professional organizations. He is recipient of several awards including "Udyog Ratan", "Udyog Patra"' "Samaj ratan" and "Uttarakhand Ratan". His vision has rightly been translated in "College of Engineering, Roorkee" an institution which has made a mark in India in a span of 10 years and being rated amongst the most prefered engineering colleges in India.
